I would like to compare 2 cards that are currently priced the same, but I'm having a difficult time deciding which one to get. So for gaming and work use, which is better:

EVGA GeForce GTX 560 SuperClocked 2GB ---> http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX33579

Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 ---> http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX36791

At a price comparable to Nvidia's GeForce GTX 560, the Radeon HD 6870 also manages to offer compelling performance. Although this card is based on AMD's older VLIW5 architecture and uses more power at idle than the GeForce GTX 560, it's the more energy-friendly option in a taxing first-person shooter.the 6870 might be the way to go read this http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6870-rade...

The GeForce GTX 560 is essentially a highly overclocked GeForce GTX 460, and it provides good competition for the Radeon HD 6870. Both options introduce impressive game performance that we simply haven't seen before under the $200 price point. read this it might help you decide http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-560-amp...
