Help! Cannot connect to the internet!

Recently, I reformatted my computer and I simply cannot connect to the internet. I run a xps 8100 and it does not detect a network adapter driver. I do have a network adapter but it is missing in 'device manager'. Furthermore, there are exclamation points by Ethernet controller and simple communications controller (If that helps..) My motherboard and BIOs is not detected in Everest. And my chipset is also not detected. (I installed the drivers for the chipset and BIOs) So... can anyone help me connect to the internet? Router- linkysys wt160n v3
Take into consideration I do not have internet on this PC.
