Mid-budget gaming rig

Hello,everybody
i want to build a gaming rig in mid-budget range, about 1500$...
i have a 1080p monitor and wanted to play games like crysis 2 ( and later 3) on atleast 40-50fps...
also wanted to watch full hd movies...
i was confused about many things:

1. amd cpu or intel??
2.mobo?
3.gpu? (ati 7850 or nvidia 560ti?)
4.a good 600w psu
5. pc case

  2. Hi ,

    Look at this build:

    http://gamingrig.blogspot.com/2012/06/1000-gaming-pc-june-2012.html

If you don't see the parts disable adblock.

It has everything you will need in next 2years+
It cost 1000$ with Win7 but you can of course remove the Windows cost.

    enjoy.

for those who are too lazy to click:
    Intel Core i5 3450 + Nvidia GTX 670 :)
  3. 4. If your taking Finneous suggestions on CPU/GPU, then a good 450-500W PSU is sufficient for your build. I love my Seasonic M12II-520 and it's a great deal at Newegg right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151093&Tpk=m12ii%20520
