Hello,

Got some good money saved up over a good few years now for a gaming pc I've wanted which will run even the most demanding games at high settings. Games like Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 etc..

Consider myself to have a good enough knowledge on what's good etc, but would be grateful for clarification on those who are competent with such pc info.

Following main specs I'm considering:

Processor (CPU)

Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3820 (3.6GHz) 10MB Cache

Motherboard

ASUS® RAMPAGE IV EXTREME: INTEL X79, SOCKET 2011, R.O.G

Memory (RAM)

8GB SAMSUNG DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (2 X 4GB)

Graphics Card

2GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 670

Cheers

Your choice of processor is quite at a high end. If you are only planning on gaming, an i5-3570K + matching Z77 motherboard should be best for the money.

You still lack a lot of part, is this because you already own the other components & does not need to buy anything apart from the above?

Cheers for the advice. The reason I chose to show these parts is because I consider them to be the most important deciders of running games properly.
