Hi There,
So I just built me a desktop and am having problems booting it up, the mobo light is on and the fans spin for a split second then it just stops spinning and nothing happens, (no beeps either).
Now i'm no newbie to building computers as I have built several and have a fair understanding of how computers work so to try and diagnose i've done the following.
■Checked all wires are connected properly
■Powered on the Computer with only the PSU, CPU and mobo connected
■Swapped with a known working PSU
■Double and Triple checked the CPU and CPU heatsink is connected properly
Yet still no matter what the computer does the same thing, green motherboard power indicator turns on, fans spin for a second then stop and nothing happens, no beeps no nothing. (btw I do have a mobo speaker connected directly onto the mobo)
Here's my Spec list
Asus Barebone V6-P8H61ELX (includes mobo, psu and case)
Intel Pentium G620 2.6GHz LGA1155(cpu is compatible with the mobo)
Crucial 4GB DDR3 RAM (2x2GB)
Samsung F1 320GB HDD
DVD Writer
I hope you guys can help me out here
Edit: btw I did go through most of the 'No POST' checklist to no avail
