My Geforce2 MX 400 64Mb has an tv/S-video out. My Voodoo 3 3000 also had S-video out and it came with an adapter cable to convert it to an RCA jack. It worked awesome on my Voodoo. I tried to hook up the Geforce using the adapter but the TV would not respond. I spent thirty bucks on a S-Video cable which works great. My question is why didn't the adapter cable work??? It worked on the Voodoo. Same computer, same TV, same cables. Things that make you go HMMMMM?????????????
I can't think of one reason it would not work unless the Voodoo card is wired differently than standard, which is unlikely. You may want to try another Svid to RCA adapter that didn't come with the voodoo card.
