hey guys i have a really low end osu wich has sometning like 6.0a on +12v and 0.8 on anoher can it suppoet hd6850 reply asap i m panicking

6A on the 12V rail means you have just 72W for both the GPU and the CPU. If thats accurate (if it is, u must have one the of weakest PSU i have seen since the mid 90s...) than you cant run ANY GPU other than one built into the cpu/chipset. If you have 2-12V rails, each with 6A, than you still cant run a 6850. To run a 6850 you need a PSU with about 22 or more amps on the 12V or a pair of 12A rails. That would be bare minimum. A quality 300Watt PSU should be able to supply the required amps.

Probably because he prematurely entered the question with the wrong title & afraid that with title "A", people won't come in to help. Its good reason because I skipped that "A" thread not knowing what it is all about. Although as far as I know, thread title can be edited... but maybe he don't.
