What is the purpose of your build?

Is your budget around $500?

What is the purpose? General pc use? Gaming? Both?

Id like to play all games on maximum settings. I'm not so picky that if I have to play on normal settings ill be mad though. I will be improving my systems as technology advances too... I just want the better of the to systems. I heard that APUs are becoming more popular.
