Hello! This is the first time I have ever built a computer and I've chosen most of the parts, I just can't figure out how what type of PSU to choose/how many watts. Whenever I put all the parts into a site like PCPartPicker or Newegg for advice, I end up with something around 300 watts and that seriously can not be right. I'd think it would be more? This is the build I've come up with:
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz LGA 1155 Processor
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB Video Card
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (this is an existing drive I own)
Disk Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
