Table Error with SONY MegaStorage 300CD

My SONY MegaStorage 300CD player has developed a track error that seems to be related to its optical system not being able to register on the correct CD. The unit worked perfectly for nearly one year, but after moving the unit from one location to another (with no bumping or jarring of the unit) the CD tray now oscillates back-and-forth (covering approximately 40% of the disc perimeter) for six or seven times after coming to a complete stop and the digital screen indicates “Table Error.” In this error state no button or dial functions except for the ON/OFF switch. Does anybody have an idea how I can re-register the table so that it functions correctly?
