I'm in the process of building my first ever system. Did a breadboard test and it posted just fine. On the BIOS loading screen it says there is a CPU fan error. Inside the BIOS the fan speed is in red and reading around 465rpm. I then noticed that the fan is also spinning the wrong way. I've tried plugging it into the optional connector for a second fan but it made no difference.

Any Ideas?

If it helps here's what I'm using:
ASUS P8Z77-V Pro
i5 3570k
CM Hyper 212 Evo
G-Skills RipJawsX 8Gb 1600mhz
Gigabyte GTX 670

The fan is working, and contrary to what I thought it is spinning the right way. It's definitely connected up in the right way. Could it just be that the BIOS doesn't like the low rpm?
