Hello, I am looking to build a gaming pc this week. I have been a reading a bit, I guess my outstanding questions are: Is it worth it to SLI 670's, should I get 680's instead. Or should i try to find a single 690?
I'm starting a new job in the fall and further upgrades wouldnt be a problem, should I just get a single card for now? Thanks for all the help!
Approximate Purchase Date: This week
Budget Range: Up to $2,200 including monitor
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Going to be used for gaming exclusively, with web browsing etc secondary. I play BF3 and Skyrim and would like maximum graphics possibilities to try out some of the newer MMOs etc.
Parts Not Required: Keyboard, Mouse, OS, Speakers
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: I'd like a 27in monitor if possible.
Overclocking: Maybe (open to possibility)
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe (open to possibility)
Monitor Resolution: See above monitor request
Additional Comments: i dont really want a huge full tower if I can avoid it.
