Hi guys,

As the title says, I need some advice on what to upgrade since I cant play games like Crysis 2 and Battlefields 3 on 1080p. The problem arise when I upgraded my LCD from crappy 15" to 23" and I'm very confuse about what to upgrade. Here is my current spec:

CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.80GHz
Cooler - COOLER MASTER V8
MOBO - ASUS M4A88T-M/USB3
RAM - KINGSTON DDR3 HYPERX 2GBx2
GPU - PALIT GTS 250 1GB Green
PSU - SEASONIC M12 620W
HDD - WESTERN DIGITAL BLACK CAVIAR 1TB
CASE - Normal crappy case with airflow modification
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, Windows 8 RP 64bit, Windows XP SP3 (on VMWare)
Anti Virus - Kaspersky IS 2012

I play almost all games like :
-Crysis 2
-Battlefield 3
-Ghost Recon Future Soldier
-Medal of Honor (those AFO Wolfpack n AFO Neptune stuff)
-GTA 4
-Sonic Advantures (on emulator :p)
-FIFA 12
-Warcraft 3 (DOTA)
-Red Alert 3
-Rise of Nations
-Prince of Persia
-Assassin's Creed Revelations
-Dirt 2
-GRID
-NFS The Run
-Rise of Argonauts
and many more...

I dont plan for SLI or CF and I'm intend to keep my single 1080p LCD. I'm looking to upgrade a part or a few parts that can last at least 4 years. My options are quite limited since I live in Malaysia. Here is a link to a store as example of what I can get here :D

Thank you :p

p/s: Please inform me if you need more information :D

Thank you. I was thinking a GTX 570 OC but I'm not very sure. If AMD what would you recommend?

For amd i'd go with a 6850 if you are stick with that place you linked for parts.
probably the best value for money there.

If you are not too worried about budget then the 7950

Certainly the 570oc would be enough.

Room is not a problem since I'm upgrading my case to Thermaltake Dokker soon :D
Could you actually be more specific for those cards? I mean I know a little about nVidia naming scheme but AMD's is kind of confusing :kaola:

Thanks. Shops here quite lame wont you agree :D
Yes. HD7950 is one of the option I'm considering now. Will there be bottleneck if I take the HD7950 with another 2x2GB HyperX?
