I know that the v pro is better. But is it really worth the extra 75 bucks?

It is all in the perspective, for most users the Asrock does just as well. But there are cheaper boards from Asus as well like the V-LK or the std V.
+1^ anyways if you are overclocking and planning on SLI/Crossfire stay with the Z77 chipset in general. If this is a basic computer with little to no gaming and no crossfire/sli then the H61/H67 chipset will do fine.
