hi i just got myself a radion powercolor hd7870 ghz v2 and im pretty happy with it but i think im getting bottlenecking from my q9300 quad 2.5 ghz. but im not sure, in some severs in bf3 im getting really bad fps. ive heard somewhere that mmo or large multiplayer game are cpu heavy.
if i got a 3570k would i see an improvement in fps on larger maps and such...
i think my gpu can handle all that on ultra but can any one give me some info? thanks

It would seem the CPU is where you are having a problem. IF you decided to upgrade a new Ivy Bridges I5 would be a good bit faster than the old Core 2. You have to remeber though if you want to get an I5 you are going to have to get a new motherboard and new RAM.

q9300 is a good quad processor..

you dont have to upgrade all of your system and burn your pocket in order to get just a few more fps..

just try to overclock it and squezze all of performance from it..

overclock your processor to 3.5 Ghz and it will be a good gaming processor..
