Just ordered a EVGA superclocked 670 for 420$ on newegg since all the others are already out of stock, which has a supposed 20% performance increase putting it next to the 680.

I'm planning to build a new rig in coming weeks but for now would sticking this card into a system with phenom II x4 965be @3.7ghz oc'ed and 4 gigs of ram be ok? I have a 600w 80+ OCZ psu. Wonder if it'll get bottlenecked? Or should I Just wait for my i5-3570k to arrive.

They are not out of stock now... The MSI, Zotac and Galaxy are still available.

Should be good in that system for gaming purposes.

Will be better with the i5 but I wouldn't be able to wait either :)

Bottlenecking doesn't mean something bad will happen. It just means that the other components won't be using all their potential because something else is holding it back. Go ahead and drop it in your current rig until you upgrade the rest.

There will not be a bottleneck.
