Hi,
Received a new viking 128mb card yesterday seemed to be working ok however
whilst loading a movie on to it this morning one of the kids switched the pc
off at the mains by accident ! my problem now is that the card reader can't
see the card at all & when i stick it in my 6600 the phone only gets as far
as the nokia screen & then freezes arrrgh....so i have no way of formatting
or getting any access to the card.

I would find a device which in which you can insert your card while the
device is running, and format the card from there. My photo camera and video
cameras can do this easily.

I second that, sometimes my 9210 also cannot format a "probably faulty" MMC
correctly.. but my kodak camera formats it no problem..
