I have had my Windows XP updated to Windows 7 by a computer tech. He promised 250 GB internal hard drive but I only received 80 GB. He installed an E Drive with 465 GB. Is 80 GB enough for Windows 7? Also, what can be manually stored in the E drive?

80 GB as the system drive is more than enough, a standard installation will be around 20 GB.

Most applications will let you select the drive to which they are being installed, so you will be able to use the E drive.

User files are by default stored on the system drive, but those too can be redirected to where ever you want them to be stored.

So, short answer, yes, a 80 GB partition/drive will be plenty for Windows (and a couple of applications as well).

Well, I do thank you very much as I felt I was being short changed. I appreciate you input.
