Fps help plz

hi people i am have some fps issue with battlefield 3 and battlefield 3 only i think it something with the game my pc specs

gtx550ti x2 sli
8gb
amd phenom tm IIx4 955 processor 3.20ghz

i can play crysis 2 fine and mw3 but battlefield 3 wtf
plz help all had this for ages

make sure in task manager that you have set all the proccessors to the game so in affinity

also on what settings does this happen all of them or just ultra or medium etc.

By the way have you thought on upgrading your cpu, it's not horrible but it is more than likely bottlenecking your graphics cards because its only 3.2 ghz have you though about getting This cpu?

Hope this helps if you can't afford a new cpu then tell me but I think this would be a great choice. it's 3.4 unlocked(can overclock on it's own) and will support your sli connection with out bottlenecking it.

I think panic is high with the affinity stuff... you NEVER need to do that

anyway you have a good CPU... watch it while in game. if its at 100%. if not its your gpus. 550 tis are low end. but its hard to tell since BF3 is highend on CPU and gpu. comparing it to MW3 is a joke

no. he compared it to crysis 2. my fps with crysis on a 6970 are fine. but I really don't see what that has to do with you being so high you think you need to set processor affinity

what do you mean by i'm high, i'm trying to help people and the only thing I can think of is that he is only using half his cpu power on the game. no reason to start calling people high. friend.

i play on low thousands of othe people are getting the sama problem but never know it could be my pc
and they can play on ultra my granda has the sam cards his works fine but he play offline in play online

ok it could be a game that your specific crossfire does not support you should read into that on other forums. or maby the crossfire configuration doesn't like bf3 for example radeon likes some games and is bad with other and the same goes with geforce

this is when one piece of equipment is stonger than the other so the slower one keeps the fast component from reaching its full potential
