IDK please help me HD 7990 and Phenom 9950 2.6Ghz Black Edition would be a serious bottleneck?

Yes for both cards. The problem with bottlenecking is that you can't use your GPU at 100% because anytime the CPU is required it will push the system back.It would be more profittable to upgrade the CPU and go with the 7970 or 7950 than with your CPU and the 7990.

Yeah I agree with you blacknemesist thanks for the quick answer I'll do what you recommend, so this rig also has been suffering bottlenecking with the HD4890 and the phenom 9950 :) , and FinneousPJ you're right it's a pretty old ddr2 system :D I just give it to him for internet, office and some of his games, but could you please give me some advice and not just a obvious assumption :D Come on guys!! more energy with the forum ;)
