hey i'm building a new PC for gaming. My budget is around the 1400 dollars, and so i i'm curiouse what to buy.
i have already found some parts that i think maybe is good, but i need help to build it correct :).

Intel Core i7 2700K / 3.5 GHz - LGA1155 Socket
MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk 1 GB GDDR5
MSI Z77A-GD55 - motherboard - LGA1155 Socket
Corsair Gaming Series GS600 Wat
Corsair DDR3 PC1600 8GB CL9 kit VENGEANCE
Cooler Master Elite 430 - Miditower
Samsung SH-222AB - Disk drev - DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM

and also, should i get en SSD? or not, or should i go for a AMD build insted. i just dont now...

What is the total price that build above costs?

If you are gaming only, the processor is overkill. Only BF3 currently utilizes HT, but not by much. Get an i5-3570k for $130(?) less. Make sure that Vengeance RAM is low profile, or get generic low profile RAM like the Crucial Ballistix sport 2x4GB 1333 MHz. With the $ you saved switching over to the i6-3570k, get a Radeon 7850. That PSU is a low quality Corsair PSU. Get an XFX 550W since you now have some extra $.

okay :). so when do i need to upgrade to a i7, you know, when does your PC needs it?. + Sandy vs IVY, and AMD vs Intel ?

When you do something very CPU intensive like editing huge files.
Sandy: runs a bit cooler
Ivy: Better at the same clock and temps aren't too hot unless you take it to the max.\

AMD: Better for rendering.
Intel: Better for gaming/editing.
