How to make internet explorer default browser

Sir/Madam,
I have to ask 3 questions

1)How to make internet explorer default browser,presently google crome is my default browser and its very slow.

2)Rediff boll in not working,Its not showing the chatroom list from so many days.

3)Even my internet connection is very slow,How to increase the speed.
