New/First Build

Hi guys, this is my first build so I thought i'd run it by some people who know a 'little' bit more than myself. I'm more or less just looking to make sure everything is compatible, as I've spent the last couple of weeks compiling parts. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going for a bit of a budget Gaming build that'll also be used to edit and record HD video. If anyone's curious i'll be taking the Hauppauge Colossus from my current computer and putting it in this one.

More about first build
  1. That PSU is low quality. Get the XFX 550W for the same price. On a budget system, an SSD is a luxury, not a necessity. Put that $ into the GPU. That is where it truly counts in a gaming build.

I'll definitely go ahead and get rid of the SSD. As for the HDD I currently have selected, would you make any changes?
  5. You have a job right? If so, 2 weeks pay should get you the SSD. :P
