A6 5400k question

I am looking to build a media player ( htpc ) and am looking to build it relatively cheap. I am curious if a A6 5400k will be ad quite for mkv 1080p playback ? just want to be 100% sure that i wont have any issues with cpu power for media playback before i purchase it. thanks for any info

You will not have any issues with it for any HD playback, MKV or otherwise. But I would still suggest an A8 atleast. Futureproofing abit since APUs are so cheap.
