Like it mentions in the title this is my first build, my friend helped me pick the parts. I do not plan on over clocking or cross firing any time soon. This is pretty much my budget I can go over it by a little if I have to. I have not ordered any of the parts yet. So tell me what you think of the build if there is any wrong with it or if you know of any parts that are better than the ones listed here you know stuff like that.
I really appreciate you guys taking the time to read this and help me out.

Since you aren't planning on overclocking or sli/cf http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bq6i

Could save $5 more by going with the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157297&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Motherboards%20-%20Intel-_-ASRock-_-13157297&AID=10440897&PID=3938566&SID= over the TZ77B

Thank you for the response.
I just have some questions about the build, like what is the difference between the caviar blue and the spin point also do you think I could save money on the optical drive by taking out the optical drive from an old junky computer that I have laying around.

Nothing really different between the Spinpoint and Caviar Blue other than the Caviar Blue is cheaper and comes with a better warranty. The lowest price on the Spinpoint I can find is $79.99.

EDIT: Forgot the Caviar Blue is sata 6 and the Spinpoint is sata 3, not that it really matters.

And you can always use old parts that will work to save money.

Oh then I'm probably going to go with the Caviar Blue. This build looks like exactly what I'm looking for but I am still curious about overclocking and cross firing. how much of a difference does overclocking make in a game?
And I was thinking about getting a mother board that can crossfire just in case I ever changed my mind.
