jumper settings on raid setup

proberly been asked before but hear goes anyway (yes i did brouse )
im setting up a raid array (0) 2* ibm 60gxp 20.5 gigs
do i set both discs as master on the jumpers????
pretty shore you do but had to ask!!!

Yes.

The entire idea behind the RAID is so that your disks work at the same time. If one is slave and the other one master, only one can be talking at any given time. Well, not quite, as some transfers are still possible, but it would only be a shadow of what the array could have been, were each drive on a separate channel all by itself.
