Id go with the second build. Go with an HDD and a smaller SSD if you really want one. That 7850 on the other build is generally a better card than the 560Ti. How much editing and multitasking will you do? If not alot just go with an i5 3570K.

Neither. I'd go with first build but i5 and the SSD.

why i5? i'm just curious you know, what is the major different between i7 and i5 : )?

I5 is cheaper and almost as good as the i7 without the hyperthreading.

HyperThreading is the difference and unnecessary for gaming.

Since you arent doing alot of it, it should do fine considering it has 4 cores.
