it depends on your resolution and specs can you tell us your whole specs.:)

well yes you can play with high settings if the system is good enough to power it without cpu bottlenecks and other stuff in 720p it performs very well but in 1080p it plays all games with high settings but without aa and will give you about 30-40fps.:)

my country don't sell 68xx series. only 66xx.
Right now on 1360x768 will get 1080p later, will the 7770 be enough to run smoothly on high setting? on game such as CoD MW3, and L4D2.
Or the HD7770 OC edition? its only like $20 more.

Well, first i was planning on buying the 7850($380)
but i just want to know if the 7770($220) would be enough and plenty for a smooth gameplay on high setting.

That resolution is low but you said you might be getting a new moniter in the future so i suggest try to future yourself and get a gtx 670 ( $400). Trust me you won't regret it :). And yes at the moment the 7770 will be enough to play on high settings. I use to have a 5770 and I maxed out COD MW3 and MW2 with 60-110 fps on 1920x1080

yes that hd 7770 is good enough for that resolution of 720p but if u think of getting new 1080p monitor in future then get a hd 7850 it will be more good choice and will be more future proof and it will last 1 or 2 years more then hd 7770.:)

there you can see that hd 7850 beats the gtx 560ti.:)

for brand get the sapphire hd 7850 overclocked one it will cost you about 260$ or less with good cooling and overclocking.:)
