New build assembled... but no video

that is my build. everything is assembled. when i powered up i got no video. i tried using an hdmi cord as well as a vga cord on the mobo. its receiving power, all of the fans are blowing.

the real problem is... i have no idea where to start.

-edit- i get 1 beep when i power on. and the lights on the case are all functioning properly.

these days when you plug a graphics card into a motherboard it will automatically disable the onboard video so you need to plug the monitor into the graphics card
