New build. Help me tweak it

i have found a build i think, but i need some help to get it a 110% right. Help me tweak it a little and so on. : ).



GPU: MSI R7870 Twin Frozr 2GD5/OC - 2 GB GDDR5
MB: MSI Z77A-G45 - Motherboard - ATX - LGA1155 Socket - USB 3.0
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K - 3.5 GHz
RAM: Corsair DDR3 PC1600 16GB CL9 kit VENGEANCE
Power supply: XFX Core Edition PRO550W Power supply - ATX12V 2.2/ EPS12V 2.91
Case: Cooler Master Elite 430 - Miditower - ATX
SSD: OCZ Agility 3 Series - Solid state drive - 120 GB
DVD: Samsung SH-222AB - Disk drev - DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM
Case Fans: Fan 120m*120m Enermax CLUSTER X2
i already have a 500GB HDD at home btw :)

Budget is around 1400 dollars, and it will be used for gaimng 2-10 min HD editing, and some multitasking (y)

I'd drop to a 3570 (don't need K since you're not getting a cooler for overclocking) and 8GB of ram and use the savings to get an nVidia 670 GTX or Radeon 7970 (if you are beholden to AMD).

If you are more interested in video editing then stick with the i7 because video editing and stuff uses more cores right? I'm getting a 7870 gpu and it sounds wonderful. My unprofessional opinion is to stick with what you have. Except, get an aftermarket cpu cooler. The hyper 212+ is great and is only like 30 dollars. Also, is a 500gb hdd enough space for video stuff? I really don't know but if it sounds like it might not be enough then you may want to invest in another 1tb drive or something.

Only get an aftermarket cooler if you plan to overclock the CPU.

Also, is the few seconds or minutes you shave off a 10 minute video worth $100? If it is, then get the 3770K. If not, and you're not going to overclock, get a 3570 (non-K) and save a little more.
