PSU motherboard compatibility!!!!!!!!!!!!

is it true that PSU work with only compatible motherboards or is it just a rumor....I have dh61ww motherboard and i m planning to buy Corsair CMPSU-600GUK 600 Watts PSU will it work fine

Those should work fine together. The only time PSU/Mobo are incompatible is with newer motherboard and an old PSU that doesn't have needed plugs like the 4 or 8pin 12v CPU plug.
