Why aren't you comparing an OC670 to an OC680?

It's an unfair comparison; if you are interested in OCing and you have the budget for the 680 then it only makes sense to go with the 680.

To answer your question; no the 670 will never out perform the 680. The 680 is in inherently more powerful due to the 670 having 1 out of 8 of the original bits lazered off. This would be noticed at high settings and high resolutions.

Yes the 670 OC will perform similar to a 680 not OC , but the 680 OC will beat the 670 OC or not.
Get the 670 OC and save some money , its performance is high enough for most peoples needs.

im not overclcker lol ... i sait stock overlocked vs stock clocks ;//////////

gtx 670 SOC costs 420$ when gtx 680 stock clocked costs 500$ .... if they will perform same then i will pick 670 for sure .... there is no reason to take gtx 680 only becuase it's 80$ more expensive ........

that's waht im talking about ....if there ill be no difference then why take 680 ???

sure

the 680 OC will beat the 670 OC or not.

but 680 oc will cost 520$ ...... then we get same situation ... 100$ difference for 7% perfoermance ?

just get the 670... save the money .. buy a decent monitor... or save up for the 670 sli for future.. the price difference vs the performance diff means that the 60 is far superior value for money and honestly there is little that would tax a 670 today... and for future.. well use the saved up money for a second 670 :)

oh .. then you are pc builder ? nice ^^

and one more thing ... some people toled me that evga is not that good brand ;/ as i know it's american company and can't get how it can have bad quality ;/

I don't know who told you that but it's a very decent company with one of the best warranty services in the world. They make quality products.

I'd suggest going with GTX 670 and saving some money.

Yup I am, getting some pc's ready for Cebit.

EVGA is an excellent brand, they have good waranty, step up programs and good customer service.
I use EVGA cards a lot, and have never had any die. They are good quality , don't listen to them
