Issues with my GTX 560 card

Hi all. For almost a week now I've been having a serious issue with my video card (I think). It all started when the data cable accidentally came unplugged from my DVI monitor while the computer was booted. Ever since then, the computer won't boot to the DVI monitor, and instead insists on using the HDMI output for the boot display.

I'm fortunately able to set the DVI screen as the default display in Windows, and am able to use it that way. The biggest issue caused by this is that I'm no longer given the resolutions options I was given before, and am limited to 1024x768 or lower!

I've checked/reset the BIOS, rejacked the video card itself, pulled the card and left it out (to let any electricity dissipate or something? lolz), been all through the nVidia control panel, updated drivers, and I'm sure a couple more things that I can't think of right now.

If I can provide any more information, please let me know. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I'll bump this with a bit more information. That's the exact video card and mother board I'm using.
