How to enable sound card in windows xp

Hello,
My system crashed down, so I had to re-install the Windows XP. Also, I had drivers and utilities cd for Vista, which I used here to install drivers. Other hardware are working except for Sound Card. Also, in device manager, it is showing all the sound devices are working fine. Please assist how to enable sound card in Windows XP

Hi, XP installs a UAA bus driver for high definition audio. Uninstall it in device manager, restart and reinstall the audio driver for the audio card.
