well for gaming tn panel is better but for watching movies and viewing angle the ips panels are better btw i have tn panel right now i m happy with its clearity and also its nice in gaming in that viseo i think that was an old one.

The U2312 have an 8ms response time. For gaming, I choose at least 5ms. But if you are not gaming, I guess its worth a try on a new IPS technology monitor.
