Gah, I hate the big patches, I'm on dialup until July when I move.

I can't express how much I miss broadband.

OMG I'm living in Europe, and most countries got ppm for dial-ups (I
don't know any where it's cheaper than having a xdsl/cable if you play
more than a few hours per weak).

Would be cheaper for me to pay for an extra month xdsl than shifting to
    an dial-up!

Unless you play a hunter. They're finaly gonna fix the pet movement
speed. What's the use of a mount if your pet can't keep up.

Aah the hassle. Dismount, dismiss, mout, run, summon, waahhh.
I already gave it bestial swiftness. That should have done the trick.

Can you not whistle while mounted?!

If the problem being solved is that your pet can't keep up with you,
then there's no need to dismiss him. So the REAL pattern looks like
this: Mount, ride, lose pet, [1], whistle, [2], continue riding...

Do you need a dismount at [1] and a remount at [2]? If so, I'd say
    that's a bug; report it.

Sometimes when I loose my pet while mounted, I cannot summon him until I
dismount. I don't mind that, just would rather not loose him at all.
Sily of me to get mithril spurs, they just make it worse.

What's more anoying is that you can't feed your pet while mounted.
Come one, I can ride a tiger and throw him a tender steak with one hand.
He proved to me that he can eat while running. Actually, the only thing
that stops my pet from eating is a battle. That's the only time hunger
    makes way for survival :)

I'm not sure, but I think warlocks have this problem too - and they
    don't have a whistle.

Why would you dismiss your pet? That causes it to lose happiness and wastes
time. Just ride. Worst case is the pet lags behind too much and vanishes
(losing no happiness in the process, and while vanished, is not subject to
the default loss of happiness meter, and cannot aggro anything on you),
then you call it when you need it.
