More about will components work inside computer
  1. Yes it will work for you. I'm afraid I cant help you with finding cheaper prices since I'm not in the UK.
  2. Thank you very much, that's fine :)
  3. better uk component stores -

    http://www.ebuyer.com/
    http://www.novatech.co.uk/
    http://www.dabs.com/

i trust all of these 100%, have used them loads of times, they never dissapoint. novatech is great for when you need something in a pinch, reliable & cheap next day delivery. ebuyer is great for the free super saver delivery & dabs great for it's open box specials :D

    +1 to the above;

do you really want to trust all of your components to a £20 PSU? No thanks, get a decent brand PSU, I personally recommend Antec, been using their 550W NeoPower HE for 7 years in continuous use in almost total silence with no problems whatsoever.
  5. Do you reckon a 750W isn't needed then, you all think i only need about 550 - 600W for all of these things?
  6. Like I said in my previous post,
    at least corsair CX600v2
    http://www.cclonline.com/product/55294/CMPSU-600CXV2UK/Power-Supplies/Corsair-CX600-V2-Builder-Series-600-Watt-ATX-PS/2-Power-Supply-Unit-80-PLUS-Certified-/PSU0098/
And, If you are planning to do some heavy overclocking, i.e. 4.2GHz+ , then get the Corsair TX650V2
    http://www.cclonline.com/product/59646/CMPSU-650TXV2UK/Power-Supplies/Corsair-TX650-Enthusiast-Series-650-Watt-ATX-PS/2-Power-Supply-Unit-80-Plus-Certified-/PSU0235/

The Amd bulldozer is quite power hungry so, when OC'd it consumes a lot of power.
For an OC'd bulldozer + GTX 570, the Corsair TX650 v2 would be great choice, with enough power for heavy overclocking as well :)
  7. thank you very much to everyone.
  8. I'm thinking about getting this case:-

    http://www.freshtechsolutions.co.uk/mars-midi-tower-part-mesh-gaming-pc-case-with-2-x-red-led-fans-led-display.html?___store=default

and i was wondering if everything would fit and if anybody else has previously bought this, if they have had any problems with it.
  9. Although it would fit all your components(Not so sure about the Frio advanced), Don't buy a cheap & tacky case like that.
The build quality would be cheap & terrible. Invest in something much better.
For a few more pounds you could get the Zalman Z9
    http://www.freshtechsolutions.co.uk/components/cases/zalman-z9-black-midi-tower-gaming-pc-computer-case-no-psu.html

    Or Antec 300
