GTX 670 2gb or 4gb for 1920x1080 ?

guys i don't want to waste my money if i don't really need 4g version of gtx 670 i will play on FULL HD for 2500x1600 i maybe pick 4gb version but for 1920x1080 .... i think is useless ... if am i wrong correct me please

don't wait for the 4gb 670. You won't see a real performance increase (maybe something synthetic)

Your right for 1080p the 4gb is useless. only get it if you are gonna go for the higher res.

Even at higher res most testers are saying there is no difference. Which makes sense.

If I was getting a GTX670, 4GB would be the way to go - some new games will be using more vram - BF3 uses quite a bit now. If you plan on keeping the card for 3 years and possibly SLIing, or higher res, more vram will be the way to go.

BF3 and skyrim are my favoreite games .... i play them most ;/ .... it's seems like i need 4gb version .. i can't even find 4g version of gtx 680 on amazon ....i don't have paypal ... so i cna buy only fro mamazon ;/

at the res of 1080p 2gb is more then enough and that card is a good gaming card 4 gb is for gaming in more higher resolutions with max aa and texture rates at high the 2gb one on that resolution will do that.

I play crysis 2 on my GTX 560 Ti 1 GB with directx 11 and high resolution textures - I stay over 40 fps all the time, my settings are all ultra except for post processing, which is set on extreme (1 step below ultra), and I play at 1080p. According to MSI afterburner, my VRAM is all used up.

I'd say you should get a 2 GB version.

i have same gtx 560 ti card but on all ultra i got like 25-30 fps ... if i disable post processing i will get extra 10-15 fps ? nice ^^

Not disable, just lower it by 1 setting. It increased my fps by 10-15. Was hovering 27-32 fps at full ultra, now it's above 40 fps. My card is clocked to 975 MHz core and 2200 mhz memory.

mine has 832 core clock so .... i have only 25-30 .. not the big difference htnx for info ... 40 fps is playable for me ^^

Just overclock it then! You should have over 30 definitely with Post processing turned down without an overclock..
