I've been using a Logitech M305 on my Latitude E5510 with Windows 7. Recently after moving from the States to Indonesia, it no longer works. The device says it's operating properly, but does not control the mouse. Help please!

Batteries OK? In correctly... not reversed polarity?

For sure. They were in right, but I even tried it reversed just to be double sure.

Could it have been damaged during shipment, perhaps? Maybe it was x-rayed and damaged. Check if anything is blocking the optical sensor underneath. It may be less hassle to just replace it. I don't know how prices/shopping is in your area, but here in the US Amazon sell them for $23.

Don't think so, but you're probably right. I should just buy a new one.
