Help me Upgrading my PC

Hey Guys!

my PC:
Cpu: Athlon II x3 445 3.1 Ghz
Graphics: XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5
Motherload: M4N68T

I don't know if I should upgrade CPU or my Graphicscard?

I've just started playing CS:GO
But when I play my fps drops a lot, especially when there are lots of players at one time or lots of action at one time(shown on my screen).

I play with 800x600
with the lowest settings

and the fps is around:

100-150fps : when running around!
50fps : when I'm on a deathmatch server! or when 4+ players is attacking aroung

I would like to run with:
resolution: 1024x768
With highest settings.

with stable fps on 150 fps or highere

BTW I would like to keep the budget as low as possible!

TY for your time!

  1. Yeah upgrade your graphics card man. It wouldnt be worth upgrading your processor.
  2. yeah, i would get a GPU. how much are you willing to pay? that way i can recommend a good GPU for you.
  3. I'm willing to pay for max 1000,- dkk (133,- euros)

But other people tells me that its the CPU that needs to upgrade first..

and i think its the GPU.. but just don't know which one to buy
  4. GPU is the way to go for now. Not much you can do in the direction of CPU
  5. Well, they both needs upgrade, but if u upgrade cpu first u will need a decent mobo as well. so better upgrading gpu now and save up for an i5 cpu.

but watch out, ur cpu will bottleneck with apprx. every game u play.

as for gpu here is some cards around ur budget:-
1.EVGA 02G-P4-3658-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST SuperClocked 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card for $169[130 Eur] after rebates

    2.HIS H785F1G2M Radeon HD 7850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card for $169 [130 Eur]

    3.MSI N650TI-1GD5/V1 GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card for only $129 [99 Eur]

the second one is the fastest one right there.
the 3rd is like 1st but with 1GB memory instead of 2GB and a bit lower core-clock and 128-Bit memory bus instead of 192-bit.

but the 3rd one is the cheapest one, however i'd recommend the radeon 7850 but it depends on ur favorite.
  6. I done my some upgrades from these sites:

The Support from all above sites are good and knowledgeable ppls which can guide you through...Best Luck.....

  7. well with 100-140 euros or whatever you can get some pretty respectful gpus like gtx 650 or the 7750!
