Hello, Gentlemen and ladies (who are also members of this forum),
Thanks to all who assisted with my previous build. I have a new build that I am putting together and need some advice/guidance.

Approximate Purchase Date: about a month or so
Budget Range: ~$1,200 after Rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: HD video editing, Photo editing,
Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: best available for an acceptable price
Overclocking: No -don’t know how to?! :( 
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1280x1024
Additional Comments: I would like a quiet PC if possible, but need a work horse

If you aren't overclocking then the stock heatsink will be just fine. put that extra money toward a better graphics card.

I go for the K series of the processor. Even though you dont over clock, it gives you the option. Microcenter cells them for $289.
