Determining if its the spill

you may have addressed this topic, but I don't think quite in this way...maybe. i spilled soda on my desk, but I think I got my tower out of the way in time...but a while afterwards, my sound card and ethernet card stopped working, but the rest of my system functions normally. As such, could this be a result of the spill? this may also be the latest phase in an ongoing problem its been having since a long time before the spill.

You should be able to see dried soda on your MB if you shine a light on it from different angles.
