My Birthday is coming up shortly and i am in great need of a new computer. I have some experience working in and around computers, but not enough to know what parts i should get for computer. I plan on using my new computer for playing games such as ( Diablo 3, WoW, Starcraft, ect. ).

Budget Range : $650

Purchase date : in a month or so.

parts i don't need: case, monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers.

preferred parts: 500gb internal hard drive, amd cpu, asus motherboard.

overclocking: would love to

sli and crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution: i don't have a HD monitor so i am not sure what the resolution is for my standard monitor.

Computer usage from most important to least: Gaming, Web browsing, movies, music.

Preferred site for purchases :: newegg.com, Tigerdirect.com

This was a simple stock/NO OC $660 build but w/o need for a case i would bump the GPU to a HD 7850? Fine for 1920 x 1080 resolution gaming

This is what I just came up with. Could be more or less if you get everything from a single site, though... but hey, just under your budget. Not too shabby, but then, I'm pretty new here and attempting to build my own PC as well.

Only went with AMD because that was your preferences, however. Intel CPUs are a bit better.
