More about zotac 560ti 560amp
  1. if you want a direct amp requirement on paper rather than actual intake:

    the formula for Amperage is:

    Watts/volts = Amps

so what you need is to know how many watts your gpu needs on load(look online for your cards max power consumption through benchmarks somewhere) and then divide by 12 volts, the rail on a psu that powers the GPU majorly. that will then give you the amps you need on the +12 rail for your psu.

He's talking about the different cards.

GTX 560 and GTX 560 Ti are different cards entirely. (Ti for titanium, it's better)

The AMP editions are highly overclocked versions of the card.

GTX 560 < GTX 560 AMP < GTX 560 Ti < GTX 560 Ti AMP there's better cards in that price range though.
  3. i think you are asking the difference between:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500210 Zotac 560 amp
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500225, Zotac 560 and
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500196 Zotac 560 ti

    ???

In which case the Zotac 560 is the worst performing card, then the Zotac 560 TI , the the Zotac 560 AMP, which is an overclocked Zotac 560. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2011/05/17/zotac-geforce-gtx-560-1gb-amp-review/4 for some benchmarks on the 560 amp
  4. so ill stick with the 560 ti..... its just a bit confusing when this 560ti is soooo cheap compared to other 560 ti's .... the next closest 560 ti is 200 bucks and all other 560's are around this price (169.99) like why would any1 even consider the 560's

thanks for clearing that up for me, didn't realize there was an "amp" variant for some gpus O_o, things you learn daily.(probably because lack of explanation of situation.)
