Line In Jack

Here is my wierd problem. I have a Sound Blaster Live sound card. I have a radio card and a TV tuner card which both use the Line in jack on the sound card, in order to have sound. I thought I would be smart and get a mini Y adapter and put both in. While they both work, it causes the audio of both to sound distorted, when I unplug one the other sounds good. Question is: Is it possible to plug two audio device into the Line in jack simultaneously and have both sound good. Wheeeeeew!!!!

Not usually. Quite a few TV tuner cards have a pass through connector for your CD-ROM or other device. So do some radio cards. If yours do not, maybe you can figure something else out, like using a tv/radio card such as the STB TVPCI-FM or the VoodooTV 200 FM.
