CPU Upgradation

Hi,

I have recently purchased Gigabyte GA 990XA-UD3 motherboard with 8 GB 1066 MHz RAM and i am using my older CPU AMD Athlon X II 250 processor on it which i want to replace with AMD FX-4100 processor. I have installed ATI RADEON 6450 1GB DDR3 graphics card.

So plz suggest will it be a good to replace AMD Athlon xII 250 processor with AMD FX-4100 processor.

Go with AMD FX-x3xx series, they're superior. That, or Phenom II.

Yes you can upgrade but i would recommend at least Phenom IIx6 over that FX processor
