Issue with 3 monitor setup

Hi Guys

I recently decided to enlarge my desktop to a three monitor display. I am currently running a

720 w Power Supply
Gigabyte ATI Radeon 6770HD 1 GB GDDR5 graphics card
AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor 3.40GHz
8 GB Kingston DDR3 Ram
Gigabyte MA785GPMT-UD2H F5 Motherboard
Windows 7 64 bit

My issue is with my display port adaptor when I plug it in and set up my desktop it works for anywhere between 5 to 30 mins before it starts to flash off and on displaying a "no signal" message before entering sleep mode and eventually going black. I have swapped the adaptor around with the other monitors and the same issue occurs. The adaptor is brand new, and I'm wondering if its an issue with my graphics cards or something else. If anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

I bougt an anywhere active adaptor. Not sure what the specs are. what adaptor would you recommend.
