Upgrading ati radeon x1300 on old dell e521, need advice! Tags: Graphics Cards Radeon ATI Graphics Last response: May 15, 2012 10:45 AM in Graphics & Displays Share Computer_Newbie May 14, 2012 4:19:19 PM CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ GPU: ATI Radeon x1300 pro 256mb PCI Express x16 Chipset: Geforce 6150 Southbridge: nForce 410/430 MCP (what ever this means ) lol Memory: 3GB DDR2 OS: Windows Vista 32bit Resolution: 720p My computer is a dell dimension e521, i believe it has a 305w power supply. I'm looking to upgrade the gpu as it is awful, the main purpose of upgrading is to play diablo 3 on decent settings. I don't really want to spend more than £40 if possible. I was looking at ATI Radeon 5450 HD but it says 500w is the recommended power required is it cheap to upgrade the psu or is it ok to keep the current psu? If not please recommend me some graphics card or advice! Thanks! I also found this graphics card - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004XANP0U/ref=s9_si... I hear this will run it decently.. but tbh i'm as unsure as you. I don't think you need a powerful graphics card for diablo 3 as it isn't that demanding. Also thanks, that's a relief!
