N nopopup Honorable Nov 15, 2012 16 0 10,510 Nov 17, 2012 #1 my motherboard is gigabyte z77x ud3h and case is antec 300. im trying to plugin top fan and rear fan of the case but they have 3 pin connectors. on the other hand motherboard has 4 pins. Still, i can plug them in. would it be ok?

Solution Z1NONLY Nov 17, 2012 It should be fine. My gigabyte 990FX-UD3 automatically recognized that I had a 3-pin fan plugged into the 4-pin CPU header and switched to voltage adjustment. Just line up the "slot" when you plug the fan in.
