Hi,
I am using PC Suite to backup the contents of my 6600, but I have noticed that
the backup folder on my WinXP box never contains the files from my phone's MMC
card.
In the Backup/Restore view in PC Suite, it is possible to choose which parts of
the data that you want to restore, including the memory card, but there are no
choices available for backup.
I would have assumed that it's always a full system backup, but apparently not.
I have my photos, movies, samples and EMame roms on the MMC, and some various
system- and application files.
Right now I have to copy everything on the MMC manually to my PC, but it's not
so easy as just selecting everything at the root and doing a file transfer.
There are system folders there that I'm not allowed to copy manually, so I have
to traverse inside every folder and copy the contents to a matching folder on my
PC.
Surely this isn't the way it's supposed to be?
My phone OS version is 3.42.1, and I'm using PC Suite for Nokia 6600 V1.1.0.

As far as I know pc suite backs up your phone memory. If you want to make a
copy of your mmc, install epoc file manager on your pc and you'll see far
more than with pc suite, you see everything (as with seleq installed in your
phone). You sellect the entire content of your mmc and store somewhere on
your pc.
